BOTOX®
BOTOX® Cosmetic is the only approved treatment to temporarily improve the appearance of both moderate to severe frown lines of the forehead, between the brows, and crow’s feet lines in adults. BOTOX® Cosmetic works beneath the skin’s surface and targets the underlying muscle activity that causes frown lines and crow’s feet.
BOTOX® is also being used to:
- Treat Teeth grinding and TMJ
- Decrease muscle activity that makes one appear to have a less pronounced chin.
- Create a “Lip Flip”. This treatment has become popular recently for those who are not ready or in need of a lip filler. The lip flip uses BOTOX® to slightly flip the top lip up creating a natural pout. Botox is also useful in treating the “gummy smile”.
What is Botox®?
